Public Practices During Ramadan

It is important to be respectful of Ramadan and its practices, especially for non-Muslims and those who don’t fast. It is good to keep in mind the following things in terms of public conduct in UAE in Ramadan:
- Eating and drinking in public during the time of fasting is not allowed
- Restaurants and eateries will not serve food until Iftar, when the fast is broken
- Appropriate clothing that covers shoulders and knees should be worn
- Foul language and ill speak of any kind will not be appreciated
