Watch Out for Fireworks in UAE for Eid Al Fitr 2017

- Yas Island in Abu Dhabi will be displaying fireworks from 09:00 PM on the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2017
- In Dubai, fireworks displays will take place on the second day of Eid at Dubai Festival City, from 11:00 PM, and at from 07:00 PM at Qasr Al Sultan
- Sharjah’s Al Qasba will have fireworks from 10:00 PM on the first day of Eid, apart from many other fun activities
- Eid Al Fitr 2017 is predicted to fall on either Sunday, 25th June, 2017, or Monday, 26th June 2017
- Eid Al Fitr is a major festival celebrated in UAE at the end of the Ramadan, the Holy Month during which Muslims observe fasting
- An official moonsighting committee will convene on the night of Saturday, 24th June, to confirm the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2017
- The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for federal ministries and authorities in the UAE will begin on 24th June, 2017
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation confirmed that Eid Al Fitr 2017 holidays for private sector will be two days, for which the dates will be fixed based on when Eid falls
- Entertainment options for Eid Al Fitr 2017 holidays include staycations, short trips to nearby destinations, shopping, visiting malls, and going to theme parks, amongst many other fun things
