Sharjah Media City Construction to Begin by 2018

- Shams has already issued trade licences to many local and global media companies, freelancers and entrepreneurs
- Shams will offer facilities to the training companies that will train the youth to compete in the job market, as well as graduates looking to start their own business
- The Shams project was launched in January 2017, with a vision to be a world-class hub for media and creativity in the emirate of Sharjah
- Shams aims to make creative entrepreneurship accessible to all aspiring startups, SMEs and established companies striving to grow their business both locally and globally
- One of the objectives of Shams is to provide an innovative environment that enables people to creatively engage in media sectors, thereby creating a sustainable future for the UAE
