Park for free in Dubai on New year’s eve
- Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai announced that all paid parking zones will be free of charge in celebration for the New Year
- All car parking’s in Dubai will be free as of Sunday, December 31, 2017 to Monday, January 1, 2018, except multi-level parking
- Tariff payments will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018

- Dubai’s metro Red Line will run continuously for 43 hours starting from 5AM on December 31 to midnight on January 2
- Green Line metro stations will operate from 5.30AM to midnight on Tuesday 2 January 2018
- The timing of all metro link bus routes will be synchronized with the scheduled timings of the metro service
- From Sunday 31 December 2017, the Dubai Tram will operate from 6 AM to 1 AM until Tuesday January 2
