What is the event all about?
The Mother of the Nation Festival celebrates, commemorates and honours the inspirational values of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. Throughout multiple and diverse activity zones, the festival creates an entertaining and highly interactive atmosphere that welcomes families and individuals from all walks of life.

How can I attend?
The event is open to everyone. Tickets need to be purchased online before the event or can be purchased from any of the box offices onsite at the event (Abu Dhabi Corniche).

How much is the ticket for?
- Each ticket admits one person only and cannot be exchanged once redeemed
- Each ticket is valid for entry on the date shown only
Adults: AED 20
Children under 12 years: AED 10
Children under 5 years: Free
Is there an age minimum for the Event?
This is an All Ages event. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
What if you lose/destroy/damage you ticket?
The Organiser will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the Emirates ID holder with the same name as the ticket purchaser.
The replacement of any tickets automatically cancels and voids the previous barcoded ticket.
Are cameras allowed into the venue?
Yes, cameras are allowed into the venue.
What can’t I take into the venue for the event?
Aerosol Cans, chains, studded bracelets, glow sticks, coolers or ice chests, furniture, fireworks, flares or smoke bombs, illegal drugs, laser pens and pointers, noisemaking devices (whistles, air horns, etc.) food and beverage, poles to display banners, flags, etc., weapons and any other items deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by The Organizer.
Will there be food and beverage at the venue?
Yes, food and beverage will be made available for those who wish to purchase. The event has multiple dedicated beach dining areas for restaurants and kiosks. Food trucks/carts will also be located throughout the whole Festival site as well.

Is there a smoking area at the event?
Dedicated smoking areas will be located throughout the Festival
Is there parking available during the event?
Parking is extremely limited at the Festival site therefore it is advisable to come by taxi. There is one parking lot next to Nation Towers and limited car parks alongside the Corniche across the road from the event.
Is there wheelchair or disabled access?
There is wheelchair and disabled access at the venue for this event.
Is there a lost child station?
There is a designated Lost Child Station. We will also have procedures in place if there is a child that is missing. Each child must wear a wristband with the parent’s mobile number on it. Once a lost child is identified, staff will call the number on the wristband. If there is no success, the child will be handed over to Authorities who will contact the police.
