June 7 is the deadline for university applications

The UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) has officially issued a very stern reminder well ahead of time for those who are looking to enroll their children in universities. The deadline for such applications is June 7th. All such applications that are filled and submitted on a date after that will be strictly rejected and not entertained further for the academic year 2018/2019.
On the MoE website, it is clearly mentioned: “Once the final grades of the public secondary school are issued, the acceptance of students will be based on meeting the conditions set by the university and the program the student wishes to enroll in.”
The registration doors for the late student shall be open from April 22 to June 7, 2018.
The website also pointed out, “June 7, 2018, is the deadline for applicants to register for universities, and scholarships abroad, for the academic year 2018/2019. To register, please access the Ministry of Education’s website http://www.moe.gov.ae.”
Any failure to do so will only result in jeopardizing the student’s chance of any final admission. The students will be immediately notified as soon as the registration process is completed in regards to the final admission through an SMS. In addition to the SMS, an e-mail will also be sent as well.
The MoE has, however, mentioned that the applications which did not receive the admission early and got rejected, will be considered during the later months of the year for the next academic year.
