Hafilat cards mandatory from April 22 for Suburban buses
Hafilat Card system is the Emirate’s travel payment system
Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport said on Thursday as “Starting April 22, paper tickets will no longer be sold on Abu Dhabi suburb buses. Passengers will have to use a Hafilat cards, which are sold at every major station, to pay for transport”.
Abu Dhabi’s Hafilat Card system is the Emirate’s travel payment system currently being rolled out for the bus services in Abu Dhabi.
What is Hafilat Card?
Hafilat Card, (Hafilat meaning Bus in Arabic) is Abu Dhabi Government’s bus ticketing card system which replaces the existing Ojra passes.

if emergency cases one persons card can be use to other person
where can i go if there some problem in the card..Example if loaded monthly past 80 then one day the inspector scan my card in he tell me zero balance but i loaded monthly fast,and he took picture my Emirates Id….then i disembark from the bus i go to machine to verify why zero then i found out loaded the card February 6 2017 the expired March 6 2017..
