Free Entry to Dubai Safari for Two Weeks

- The UAE’s much-awaited wildlife park Dubai Safari will be officially open to the public in January 2019, a top official announced during the soft launch of the facility
- For two weeks until the official opening of Dubai Safari, visitors will be given free entry, said Hussain Nasser Lootah, director-general of Dubai Municipality
- Hundreds of visitors got a sneak peek of Dubai Safari during its soft launch, and were treated to a world’s first experience of driving through a lake of crocodiles
- Dubai Safari is home to the UAE’s largest walk-through aviary and largest troop of baboons, the glimpses of which enthralled visitors
- Spread over 119 hectares, Dubai Safari is one of Dubai’s premier eco-friendly projects to be a landmark entertainment destination in Dubai
- Dubai Safari Park will provide a safe and healthy environment for 2500 animals representing more than 250 species native to the Middle East, Asia and Africa
- The first phase of the AED 1 billion Dubai Safari project in Al Warqa’a 5 includes Asian, African and Arabian villages and an open Safari Village that offers guided safari drives
- White lions from South Africa, orange & white Siberian tigers, giraffes, hippos, peacocks, ostriches, antelopes, crocodiles and hyenas are some of the highlights of Dubai Safari
- Animal exhibitions within Dubai Safari are distributed among the different villages, according to their natural geographical distribution
