Dubai Public Transport and Government Office Timings for Eid Al Fitr 2017 Announced

- Dubai Metro timings for Eid Al Fitr 2017 holidays will be extended until 02:00 AM starting from 22nd June to 26th June
- Dubai Tram operations will run from 06:30 AM to 01:00 AM from 24th June to 29th June
- DHA Hospitals will be closed during Eid Al Fitr 2017 holidays, except for the Accident and Emergency Section, while Dubai healthcare centres will be closed from 24th June till 27th June or 1st July, depending on when Eid falls
- The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs will offer its services from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM from 26th-27th June if the first day of Eid falls on 25th June, but if it falls on 26th June, then the centres will be open from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th June
- Eid Al Fitr is a major festival celebrated in UAE at the end of the Ramadan, the Holy Month during which Muslims observe fasting
- An official moonsighting committee will convene on the night of Saturday, 24th June, to confirm the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2017
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation confirmed that Eid Al Fitr 2017 holidays for private sector will be two days, for which the dates will be fixed based on when Eid falls
- Parking in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be free during the Eid Al Fitr 2017 holidays
- All entities in the UAE will fully resume normal working hours on or before 1st July, 2017
