Dubai carrier Emirates is offering travellers discounts to some of its popular destinations ahead of National Day celebrations on Friday, 2 December 2016.

The offer, valid for bookings until 8 December 2016, covers outbound travel between 1 December 2016 and 15 June 2017.

For economy class, Emirates return fares to Kuwait start at AED 680; return to Mumbai at AED 850; return to Karachi at AED 940; to Istanbul at AED 1,520; to Manila at AED 1,710; to Bangkok at AED 1,790; to London at AED 2,150; return fares to Tokyo at AED 3,020 and to New York and Fort Lauderdale at AED 3,330.

Discounted business class fares, meanwhile, start at AED 2,490.

Emirates recently retired the last of its Airbus A330 and A340 in service and would now fly all of routes with its upgraded fleet of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s – the largest aircraft in the world. The carrier is the largest operator of the A380 and 777 aircraft with 85 A380s and 160 777s in its fleet.
