Abu Dhabi City Municipality – 9 January 2016:
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has started the implementation of the Joint Technological Solution System for No Objection Certificates (NOCs) in respect of facilities and infrastructure at Abu Dhabi city. The implementation of service has actually started from the first of January 2016.
This new service is part of the municipal system’s policy aimed at introducing the latest technological solutions and availing them to clients, and strategic partners in order to improve performance, and fulfill the requirements of sustainable development.
The Joint Technological Solution System for NOCs of facilities & infrastructure in Abu Dhabi city aims at enhancing the cooperation of all parties to achieve the comprehensive electronic transformation, and offering services online through the optimal utilization of the latest information & telecommunication technology without obliging customers to visit any municipal center. Starting from Jan 1st, 2016 the Municipality started the implementation of this system for serving customers.
So from the first of Jan, the Municipality started the acceptance of NOCs (site clearance only) for new projects submitted by consultancy offices and contractors operating in Abu Dhabi city through a single electronic gateway. A single application has to be submitted in respect of an NOC for any project where all required information and documents have to be attached online.
Following this stage applications are processed by all concerned parties through the Joint Technological Solution, and results are obtained in an orderly manner. The applicant will also be informed of the final consolidated result online.
Following this date, the Municipality regrets being unable to accept applications for NOCs submitted through the previous method. Consultancy offices and contracting companies are invited to visit the designated service portal (https://noc.abudhabi.ae). External municipal centers will offer guidance to consultants & contractors regarding the use of this service, if requested.
