Woman fined with AED 5,000 after wooing married man

The incident occurred in Ras Al Khaimah, where a woman had threatened to steal another woman’s husband. According to the Arabic Media, she had been charged also with harassment and also misuse of telecommunication devices.
The case was heard by The Ras Al Khaimah Court of First Instance earlier this month. In the case, the victim had complained that the lady was repeatedly harassing and threatening via social media. And it was over various social networks as well. She had also texted the lady over WhatsApp saying that she will take her husband away from her and marry him soon.
When tried in court, the offender confessed before the court that she had been trying to instigate a marital strife. Her strategy was to woo the husband, then have him divorce his wife and then marry her instead. Fortunately, things did not go according to plan and now she has to pay a huge price for acting in such an inappropriate manner.
