Use Apple Pay now to pay for a number of RTA services within the UAE

Have your NOL card topped up, get your driver’s license renewed and pay all your fines just by using nothing but your iPhone. Yes, you heard that right.
This is some real good news for iPhone users. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has just announced that, “iPhones users can now be able to use Apple Pay to process the payment for a number of services directly from your smartphone.”
This is all being able done by the RTA app. By using this method, one can enable to make their transactions to such sensitive places through a “quick and safe” environment. This is very much beneficial for the customer as they are able to make secure verified payments, as noted in an official statement regarding the launch.
NOL card top-up, parking account recharging, vehicle registration and driving license renewal, lost driving license replacement and various fines – are the services that are enabled by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to make the payment using Apple Pay.
Apple Pay is a contactless payment system that is exclusive to the suite of products that go under Apple. An Apple user simply has to tap their iPhone or their Apple Watch in order to pay and purchase for things around Dubai. This method of secure payment allows one to not carry cash, or their credit/debit card.
