Tunisian oud player and singer Lotfi Bouchnak will perform traditional Tunisian and Sufi songs as the grand finale of the 2018 Umsiyat edition. Lotfi Bouchnak will be accompanied by international cross-cultural band of 16 musicians from North Africa and Europe. Considered one of the best tenors of the Middle East, the artist is known as Tunisia’s “Pavarotti” and has been involved in a wide scope of musical productions ranging from the songs of Umm Kulthoum and chants, to contemporary popular songs.

The season is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, the Emirates Red Crescent President’s Assistant for Women’s Affairs.
