UAE Will Continue to see Hot and Hazy Weather

- The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said the weather will be ‘hot to very hot’ in general in UAE, while being partly cloudy and hazy at times
- Temperatures will range from 38 to 42°C along the coast, 30 to 60°C in the mountains and 40 to 44°C in the interior regions
- The lowest temperature recorded in the UAE on 26th August was 23.7 °C in the Jais Mountain at 02:00 AM
- The maximum humidity would be 60-80% across coastal regions, between 50-60% in internal areas and 30-45% in the mountains
- The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) is engaged in the study of a broad range of atmospheric phenomena and processes to determine climatic conditions in UAE
- According to NCMS, after the sun’s rays crosses the equator on or around 21st September, temperature in UAE will gradually decrease below the tropical area
- Peak summer in UAE runs between July and August, when the average maximum temperature is 49°C
- Internal areas in UAE generally get more affected during the summer and tend to record high temperatures
- The highest temperature during summer 2017 in UAE was recorded by the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology on 17th June
