UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Egypt cut ties with Qatar

- Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt move to isolate Qatar as they say it supports terrorism
- Etihad, Emirates, Fly Dubai and Air Arabia suspends flights to Qatar and Qatar Airways suspends all flights to Saudi Arabia
- UAE has given 48 hours to the diplomatic mission in Abu Dhabi and 14 days for the citizens of Qatar in UAE, to leave the country
- Saudi had closed its borders – severing land, sea and air contact with Qatar affecting 40% of food supply to Qatar by land
- Saudi Arabia and three other Arab nations have cut diplomatic and transport ties with Qatar, claiming Doha’s regional policies fuel extremism and terrorism
- Qatar admits support for some Islamist movements such as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas but denies backing terrorism
- The deepening regional dispute comes after Saudi Arabia and its regional allies have been emboldened by Donald Trump during his recent visit
- Emiratis are now banned from visiting or even passing by Qatar at all means
- UAE, meanwhile, accused Qatar of spreading al-Qaeda’s ideology through its media and harbouring wanted extremists
