UAE offers 210,000 iftar meals at Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem

RAMALLAH: The UAE’s Human Appeal International (HAI) is providing some 210,000 meals for fasting people at Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem throughout Ramadan. Commissioner of the HAI in the West Bank Ebrahim Rashid said the iftar and suhour meals are being procured from the best local restaurants in the holy city.
The agency is also planning to provide an additional 100,000 suhour meals at the mosque for worshippers marking the Lailat Al Qadr, the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), and tens of thousands of meals for poor families in the West Bank.
