UAE motorists warned ahead of poor visibility on roads

The visibility on the roads can be less than 3,000 meters at certain times. Especially during the wee hours in the morning.
Earlier this Sunday, early morning, motorists faced poor visibility which caused the disruption of traffic movements on several roads.
Motorists have been warned by The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) to take certain precautions when driving on roads. Extra care must be taken when maneuvering in the expected bad horizontal visibility due to blowing dust and sand. The visibility is sure to be reduced to less than 3,000 meters due to strong winds that blow dust and sand.
Police have taken to their social media account to mention the residents of UAE to take proper care when driving on roads at the time of low visibility.
According to Google Map reports, Shaikh Zayed Road witnessed some heavy traffic jams after an accident occurred on E311 Mafraq-Ghweifat Highway towards Abu Dhabi.
Backlog was also reported on E311 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Dubai Investments Park.
The traffic was moving very slow on Sheikh Zayed Road’s E11 – from Al Nahda street. There was also delays that had been expected on Al Wahda Street.
