UAE Introduces new Emirati School Model

- A new educational system, the Emirati School Model, will unify the sector across the UAE and raise standards of teaching and learning
- As per UAE Ministry of Education and the Abu Dhabi Education Council, all public and private schools offering MoE curriculum will now follow the Emirati School Model
- The new system is monitored by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai
- The unification aims to unify the education systems and policies, as well as learning paths in all government schools and private schools following the ministry system
- The Ministry of Education is a government authority that monitors and regulates all schools and education-related matters in UAE
- The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), is the educational authority for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
- UAE MoE stands for the curriculum set by UAE’s Ministry of Education, which is followed in all public schools in UAE
- All instruction of Ministry of Education subjects are carried out in Arabic, the official language of UAE
- UAE is on a mission to standardise and unify all sectors of education in the country, starting with the introduction of a unified inspection system for private schools in 2015
