UAE fuel price hike from January 2018

- Petrol and diesel prices in the UAE will rise in January 2018
- According to the Ministry of Energy, the price of 98 unleaded gasoline will cost AED2.24 with an increase of 0.09 fils
- The price of 95 unleaded gasoline will cost AED 2.12 next month, with an increase of 0.08 fils on December prices
- The price of 91 unleaded gasoline will cost AED 2.05 per litre with an increase of 0.08 fils
- The UAE Ministry of Energy aims at achieving security, sustainability and competitiveness of the sectors of energy, water and mineral wealth
- VAT is inclusive in gasoline and diesel prices starting January 1, 2018
- According to the Ministry of Energy, Diesel rates have been hiked to AED 2.33 for January, which is an increase of 0.13 fils
- The highest prices that the UAE motorists had to pay was in August 2015
- In August 2015, 98 unleaded gasoline and 95 unleaded gasoline were priced at AED 2.25 and AED 2.14 per litre respectively
