Swimmer Akram Makes History for Egypt

Egypt made its best achievement in the history of swimming tournaments after Ahmed Akram finished fourth with 14:53.66 in the Men’s 1500m Freestyle final at the World Championship in the Russian city of Kazan on Sunday.
Akram came 2.58 seconds behind third-placed Ryan Cochrane of Canada and 14 seconds off gold medal winner Gregorio Paltrinieri of Italy. Details
