Stetson Rolls to a Win Over Webber International in Opener

Stetson coach Roger Hughes and his players were driven to move past the novelty of a brand new football program, focusing on winning more games than simply calling playing them a victory.
The Hatters (1-0) got off to a strong start, rolling to a 42-13 win over Webber International (1-1) Saturday night at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand.
Cole Mazza rushed for three touchdowns and Ryan Tentler passed for 229 yards and one touchdown for the Hatters.
A.J. Washington and P.J. Franklin also rushed for touchdowns as Stetson set a school record for most points scored during the modern era. Details
