Starting Aug 1: Pay Abu Dhabi traffic fines in full
Today(1st August 2016), Abu Dhabi Traffic Police cancel the resolution reducing traffic fines by 50 per cent, which has been in effect for the last six years.
All violators will now be obliged to pay the full value of the fines.
The police said that the decision was taken to enhance the safety of road users and was taken after a thorough and in-depth study to improve traffic safety levels.
Abu Dhabi Police also clarified that old pending fines – before August 1 – will still be eligible for the 50 per cent discount, however, all violations henceforth will be collected in full.
