Sports Data Company Raises $44 Million

Sportradar has officially made data sexy. The sports data technology and services company has secured a strategic investment from Revolution Growth, which was co-founded by Washington Capitals, Wizards and Mystics owner Ted Leonsis. The investment is approximately $44 million according to a source familiar with the deal. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan are participating in the funding round and join Leonsis as part of Sportradar’s U.S. advisory board. Details
