Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival – Culture Event in Abu Dhabi
The Festival is named in honour of the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in recognition of his pivotal role in preserving our nation’s proud history as a gateway to the future. The Festival celebrates the UAE’s cultural inheritance, showcases the rich diversity of its traditions and provides an educational platform for enlightenment.
The festival illustrates that the UAE’s remarkable progress is not a coincidence but, rather, a legacy of our forefathers’ inspiring achievements.

Zayed Grand Prize
This award is more than thirty years old, and it brings together the world’s largest gathering of Arabian camels. It was founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, as the Sheikh Zayed Camel Race Grand Prix. It is now a massive festival involving over 10,000 camels.
