Road Closures in Dubai Ahead of Dubai Tour
- The Dubai Tour will pass through several busy Dubai roads like Dubai-Al Ain road, Mohammad Bin Zayed road and Emirates road, which will be closed for the duration
- From Dubai, the tour will then continue in Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, before being on its way to Ras Al Khaimah
- Dubai Design District and roads ahead of it towards Sharjah are expected to be closed between 10:30 AM and 11:50 AM
- The road closures are scheduled to end in Ras Al Khaimah at 3:30 PM today (7th February)
- Dubai Tour is a professional cycling race that takes place in the UAE every year
- The 2018 edition of the Dubai Tour is taking place from 6th-10th February
- 2018 is the fifth year of Dubai Tour on the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) calendar
- The UCI, based in Aigle, Switzerland, is the world governing body for sports cycling and oversees international competitive cycling events
- Dubai Tour 2018 kicked off with a 167-km Nakheel Stage from Skydive Dubai, through to Al Qudra cycle track before heading back to Palm Jumeirah
