Residents of Al Khail park outside to dodge fines
- New parking fees and fines came to effect on July 1
- This has made the resident of Al Khail Gate to park outside the residential community
- The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) implemented these fines
- Most of the resident park their vehicles in Al Quoz to dodge fines
- The new parking system is a 24-hour parking system
- The parking system came into place after an agreement with Dubai Properties
- Parking spaces inside the community remain empty and completely available to occupy
- Those that paid an amount of AED 2,500 to the RTA for season parking permit now can park their vehicles within the community even if it is late at any time
- For those employees of registered companies, they can have the sticker of their company on the front windshield to avoid any fines
