Ras Al Khaimah’s Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi dies
Ras Al Khaimah has announced from Monday onwards a three-day mourning period.
The Court of His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, mourned the death of Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi on Sunday.
There will be a funeral prayer that will be held at 8:00 PM on Monday at Shaikh Zayed Mosque. Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi will be cremated in Al Qawasim cemetery. The family of the deceased shall accept the condolences from men at the Al Diyafa Majlis from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM for three days. Condolences for women will be accepted at the house of the late Shaikh Sultan Bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
During the three day mourning period from Monday, the UAE flag shall be flown at half-mast.
