Ramadan Timings Change for Abu Dhabi Malls

- Timings have changed for retail outlets, food joints and movie theatres at malls in Abu Dhabi, in lieu of Ramadan
- Shops at Al Wahda Mall and Yas Mall are open from 10:00 AM till 01:00 AM, between Sunday and Saturday, and Marina Mall is open during the same hours from Saturday to Wednesday
- Outlets at Abu Dhabi Mall and Dalma Mall are open from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM, and resume from 08:00 PM till 01:00 AM, from Saturday to Wednesday at the former, and throughout the week at the latter
- The Galleria is open from 12:00 PM till 02:00 AM between Saturday and Wednesday, and from 12:00 PM till 01:00 AM on Thursdays and Fridays
- Ramadan is a holy month observed by all Muslims, which falls in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which they fast and focus on the Five Pillars of Islam
- Being a Muslim country, Ramadan is celebrated in UAE with a lot of special events, which is why timings at all major public places and attractions are different during this time

- Beware that while malls and retail stores will be open during the day in Ramadan, food outlets will not be open and will not serve food until Iftar, the break of the fasting period
- Eating and drinking in public is strictly prohibited in public during Ramadan, and it is important to be respectful of the policies of UAE by wearing clothes that cover shoulders and knees even at malls
