Park for free on new year day
- Integrated Transport Centre announced parking will be free of charge in Abu Dhabi during the New Year break
- There will be no charge on parking starting 12:01 AM on December 31, until 7:59 AM on January 2
- Transport authorities have urged motorists not to violate residential parking rules
- Motorists are not supposed to park in resident parking bays from 9pm to 8am
- Integrated Transport Centre is the governing authority for practicing of public transport, management of parking spaces, traffic control centres in Abu Dhabi
- The Center was established pursuant to a law issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE
- The New Year holiday will also see all buses operate according to their usual schedules
- Only Abu Dhabi to Al Ain bus will follow a different timetable, with its evening services available every 15 minutes between 1PM and 6PM on December 31
- On January 1st, 2018, buses on this route will be available between 2PM and 6PM only
