Palm Weaving Workshop at Al Jahili Fort – Culture Event in Abu Dhabi
Al Jahili Fort is organising a Palm Weaving workshop, one of the most prominent and well-known techniques used in the making of many Emirati handicrafts. Seeking to further expand the public’s knowledge of the UAE’s rich heritage, the workshop will introduce visitors to the traditional practice and the ways to master it, while also demonstrating the purposes of some of the products made with it in everyday life.
