Building on the resounding success of the Andrea Bocelli and Disney’s Frozen performances, NSO opens its fifth annual season with yet another enthralling film night conducted by Andrew Berrman. An array of extreme musical treats awaits to excite everyone’s musical palette – from the blockbuster film ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ to Disney’s timeless ‘Fantasia’, with extracts from Stravinsky’s amazing ‘Firebird’.

NSO audiences will enjoy another exciting world premiere from award-winning composer James Griffiths, ‘Starlight Horizon’, as well as a special arrangement of Cartoon Network Classics’ theme music, including the Emirati cartoon character Mansour. The concert culminates with everyone’s favourite choral piece ‘Ode to Joy’ from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, with the NSO Symphony Chorus and Guest Soloists!
