New Transport rules and fines in Abu Dhabi

- A host of new rules have been introduced in Abu Dhabi for the benefit of residents using public transport
- Children aged 10 years and below, elderly people aged 55 and above, and people of determination are exempted from paying full fare

- Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of Department of Transport
- Violators will face hefty fines, including penalties ranging from AED 200 to AED 2,000
