New rules to protect rights for parents and children in Abu Dhabi schools
Education bosses in the capital have issued new regulations and guidelines designed to protect children and to ensure high-quality education in all private schools in the emirate.
Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) said on Monday that the Private Schools and Guidance (PSPG) Manual, which consists of 81 policies in 22 chapters, clarifies the regulations for private schools in the capital.
“Providing schools with transparent regulations and policies defines the rights and responsibilities of students, teachers, school leaders, investors/operators and most importantly parents,” said Hamad Al Dhaheri, executive director for ADEC’s private schools and quality assurance (PSQA) sector.
