Man held for setting his Mercedes ablaze in Fujairah
A 23-year-old Emirati who set fire to his Mercedes car in Al Wareaa neighborhood in Fujairah for inexplicable reasons, has been arrested for arson
Lieutenant colonel Saif Rashid AL Zahmi, Director of Dibba Police department said Al Bidayya police station, an affiliate of Dibba was tipped off on Tuesday at 5:30pm that a motor vehicle was gutted at Al Wareea neighborhood.
“Teams of civil defense and criminal intelligence rushed to the scene, where the fire was doused”, he said adding on investigation and garnered evidences, it appeared that the owner of the vehicle was the one who had intentionally torched his car”.
Accordingly, the motorist was charged with arson, and referred to the public prosecution to complete the investigations.
