Louvre Abu Dhabi museum dome lights up

Louvre Abu Dhabi hit another milestone in its development on Monday with the attachment of 4,500 tube lights to the dome’s steel structure.
The enchanting effect is the result of 4,500 tube lights attached to the Louvre Abu Dhabi’s dome. The structure has eight layers of cladding consisting of 7,850 star-shapped pieces of aluminium and stainless steel of various sizes and angles. Courtesy TDIC
“We are pleased to announce the completion of this milestone in time to welcome and celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan,” said Ali Al Mansoori, chairman of the board at Tourism Development and Investment Company.
