The Korea Festival 2016 brings Korea to the Abu Dhabi Corniche, with its music & dance performances, food, and fun activities.

The festival includes:
· K-Music: ‘Danpyunsun & the Sailors’, ‘SE:UM’
·K-Dance: ‘Goblin Party’
·K-Food: Cooking class, tasting booths
·-Content: Drama, Animation, Game
· Kids Workshops: Painting, traditional games

K-Music: Acoustic Band “Danpyunsun & the Sailors”
Danpyunsun & the Sailors is a four-piece group that was formed in 2013 with the members who have been creating a diverse range of music from classic, jazz, folk pop to experimental rock. They continue to push their boundaries toward a new pop sound with a mixture of both Eastern and Western influences.

K-Music:  Experimental Music Group “SE:UM”
SE:UM communicates with the world by Korean sounds and performances. Korean music begins with breath, and ends with breath. SE:UM combines Korean traditional music with different genres of Western music, drawing more diverse musical communication.

K-Dance:  Dance Group “Goblin Party”
Goblin Party, which takes as its mascot the Korean goblin, or dokkaebi, a figure that bewitches people with its extraordinary talent and engages in impish and mischievous pranks, was founded in 2007. Goblin Party has been invited to Germany’s Internationale Tanzmesse, the Netherlands’ Spring Performing Arts Festival, Belgium’s dance biennale Pays de Danses, and other eminent festivals both in South Korea and overseas, and is not looking to stop any time soon. Using its unique humour and seriousness as weapons, the group emphasises communication with the audience while consistently striving, through research and effort, to create pieces that might broaden viewers’ perceptions.
