iPhone 8, AED 50000 up for Grabs on Public Transport Day
- To mark the Public Transport Day on 1st November, RTA Dubai has invited people in the city to use all possible public transit modes
- The two most frequent public transport users who collect the maximum number of points would be named as winners, and each would receive a cash prize of AED 50,000
- There will also be a public transport run on the day, where the first winning team will get AED 50,000, the second will get AED 30,000, and the third will get AED 15,000
- Enroll at the Public Transport Day Run kiosk at 01:00 PM at Burjuman Metro Station to participate in the challenges, which is in ties with the Dubai Fitness Challenge
- The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is the regulatory authority for all matters regarding transport and road safety in the emirate of Dubai
- The 2017 edition of the annual Public Transport Day is the 8th one running
- The most commonly used forms of public transport in Dubai include metro, bus, tram, taxi and water taxi
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge is a health and wellbeing initiative launched by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge has the objective of committing to 30 minutes of physical activity for 30 days
