Infra works complete at 36-tower Abu Dhabi project

Infrastructure works have been completed at the 36-tower Danet Abu Dhabi development, according to Al Qudra Real Estate.
The developer has revealed that street lighting, power distribution, and water-cooling networks for the 200,000-sqm master development are now in place.
All infrastructure works at the site have been completed in accordance with the latest regulations from Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC).
Commenting on progress at Danet Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Thaaloob Al Darei, chairman of Al Qudra Holding, said: “We are delighted to announce the completion of the infrastructure network of our master development located in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
“The network includes street lighting, power distribution, and water-cooling networks. We have adopted the latest technologies that are used globally to achieve environmental sustainability for generations to come, meeting the future aspirations and visions of Al Qudra Holding,” he added.
The mixed-use development’s 36 towers will include residential units, hotels, and hotel apartments. So far, 14 towers have been completed at the site and are now occupied, according to Al Qudra Real Estate.
Danet Abu Dhabi’s district cooling plants and street lighting networks were completed in October 2015 and November 2015, respectively. The project’s electrical distribution network was launched in December 2015, and its water system was finished in January of this year.
Al Darei concluded: “[Danet Abu Dhabi] will be getting a state-of-the-art cooling system that is very cost effective and environmentally friendly; a far superior system of cooling than the traditional air-cooled air-conditioning systems.”
