Indian Official says: Jammu & Kashmir is integral part of The India

Jammu and Kashmir will remain an integral part of India and no external party will be allowed to interfere in its stand, a senior official from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has said.
“Our position has been made very clear over the years. Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and we will not let anyone interfere in our internal affairs, and that position stands,” T S Tirumurti, secretary at the ministry, said at a Press conference in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
He was responding to a question on the outcome India expects from its participation at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), especially on a resolution on Kashmir that the OIC is expected to pass today.
The OIC’s stand on Kashmir has been historically unfavourable to India. In the current context of heightening tensions, the OIC has condemned “Indian incursion and aerial violation” and dropping of bombs in Pakistan’s territory on February 26.
