Iconic cartoon characters cover the Burj Khalifa

Recently, everything on the Burj Khalifa has been lit upright from the World Cup scoreboard to the immense bright red hue to mark the celebration of the UAE-China week that recently took place when the President of China had made an official historic visit to the nation. This weekend, the Burj Khalifa had been covered from top to bottom in their LED lights with some of the world famous cartoon characters that used to be our childhood getaway on T.V.
Why? There were visuals of Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, Batman and every other cartoon character that you can think of in between, all set alight on the world’s tallest building. This all had taken in place as a part of the opening celebrations for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, July 25.
The entire show lasted for an epic 3 minutes and was also replayed on Friday as well.
The Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi opened to the public on Wednesday, after an official inauguration by HH Sheikh Mohammed on Tuesday, July 24.
The entire indoor theme park located in Yas Island is home to 29 rides that is split across six distinct lands. The indoor theme park is one of the world’s largest of its kind. It covers an expansive 1.65 million square feet and had cost a staggering USD 1 billion (AED 3,673,200,000) to have it build. Apart from that, there are a lot of cartoon characters to hang out with from DC Comics stars Batman and The Joker, Wonder Woman and Superman, to Looney Tunes favourites Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.
