Heavy Fog in UAE Causes Traffic Jam, Flight Delays

- Police across the UAE warned motorists to slow down and switch their fog lights on after Monday morning’s fog reduced visibility on the roads to 100 metres
- The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued an advisory for residents as foggy days are set to continue for next few days, with a drop in visibility up to 200m
- Passengers flying out of UAE have been advised to check the flight status in advance after a number of flights were delayed in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah
