H.H Mohammad Bin Zayed meets Al Sissi in Cairo
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived in Cairo on Tuesday and met Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi.
Al Sissi welcomed His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Cairo airport and escorted him for talks on subject matters that included the UAE and enhancement of the relations between the UAE and Egypt along with the review of the regional scene, as mentioned by one of the Egyptian presidential officials.
Presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said, “Egyptian-Emirati relations are special, dating back to decades since the time of late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who has special status among the Egyptian people because of his historic and noble stances towards Egypt, which are ongoing until now from rulers of the state of Emirates.”
Egypt and the UAE are major allies. His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan had made his ninth visit to Egypt ever since Al Sissi took the reins of being the president of the nation in mid-2014. The visit before this to Egypt was in the month of April a few days after Al Sissi’s re-election.
