- Residents can enjoy Dubai’s record-breaking New Year’s Eve laser and light show for a few more days
- If you have missed the show at Burj Khalifa on Sunday, you will be able to watch it till January 6
- The show will be taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00PM and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10PM
- UAE made a record-breaking entry into the New Year with ‘Light Up 2018’ in Downtown Dubai
- ‘Light Up 2018’ was a spectacular light and sound show that lit up the Burj Khalifa as the clock struck 12 at midnight on December 31, 2017

- 2018 is being celebrated as the Year of Zayed, paying tribute to the founding father of UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
- The show established a new Guinness World Record for the largest light and sound show on a single structure, after topping the standard set in Hong Kong, 2013
- This was the first time Burj Khalifa did not welcome the New Year with fireworks but spectators were stunned by the laser light show
