The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in partnership with the Ladies European Tour, have been working tirelessly together to bring a new milestone event in the women’s golfing calendar to Abu Dhabi – the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open (FBMLO), the first-ever ladies professional golf event to take place in Abu Dhabi.

The tournament will be held from November 2 to 5, 2016, during which a field of 126 Ladies European Tour players will compete over the stunning, Gary Player-designed ocean-front course at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.

This new event, held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak; President of the General Women’s Union, Chief Executive Officer of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Higher Council for Motherhood and Childhood, will deliver something entirely new to Abu Dhabi Sport.
