Emirates Plane Crash Lands in Dubai Airport – EK 521 India-to-Dubai

An Emirates aircraft A6-EMV 777-300 bound for Dubai from Thiruvananthapuram made an emergency crash landing at the Dubai International Airport on 3rd August 2016 around 12.45 PM, confirmed the Emirates Airline.
Emirates EK521, a boeing 777-300, caught fire after it crash landed at the Dubai International Airport. Black smoke was seen billowing from the plane. The captain of the flight sent out the emergency signal shortly before the plane crash landed at the airport runway of DXB.
It is believed that the flight avoided a mid-air collision. It was a narrow escape for the 282 passengers onboard. As per reports no passengers or crew were injured in the incident.

Dubai Media Office has reported that all departure flights from Dubai airport have been delayed until further notice.
There were 275 passengers onboard the aircraft during the time of the crash at the Dubai International Airport.
According to the Dubai Media Office, all the passengers have been evacuated and safely rescued.
