Emaar Rises as Most Attractive Local Employer in UAE

In the “Middle East Rankings of 2016’s Most Attractive Business Employers” compiled from the Universum Student Surveys conducted in the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Emaar is at number seven. It was at number 12 in last year’s ranking.
In the “Middle East Rankings of 2016’s Most Attractive Engineering/IT Employers,” Emaar is at number five. In 2015, it was at number seven.
The rankings are based on the responses of 13,873 business and engineering/IT students. The results are weighed by GDP. The data was collected from November 2015 to early May 2016.
The most preferred Business industries in the Middle East are Banks and Financial Services; Management and Strategy Consulting; Auditing and Accounting.
The most preferred Engineering and IT industries in the Middle East are Engineering and Manufacturing; Software and Computer Services; Energy.
The top career goals for Business employees in the UAE are “To be secure or stable in my job,” “To have work/life balance” and “To be entrepreneurial or creative/ innovative.”
