Eid Al Adha could be a 5-day break

The Eid Al Adha holiday could turn into a 5-day break according to some basic calculations from official holiday data.
According to the official list of public holidays released this year by the Federal government, the first day of Dhu Al Hijjah falls on September 14.
Eid Al Adha, which falls on the 10th day of Dhu Al Hijjah, is Wednesday, September 23.
With the private sector to be given at least three days for Eid Al Adha, it is likely this will run into the weekend resulting in a four-day break, plus September 22, a day before Eid Al Adha, which is Arafat Day – also a public holiday.
This brings the total to 5-days of holidays. Work should ideally resume on September 27.
It is important to note though, that Islamic holidays are subject to moon sightings and may differ from our estimations.
