Eid Al Adha 2017 Dates Revealed

- Eid Al Adha will be observed in UAE on 1st September, 2017, according to the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department of the Government of Dubai
- Arafat Day will fall on 31st August, considering that the Islamic month of Dhu Al Hijjah, 1438, will begin on 23rd August
- As per the Islamic calendar, Eid Al Adha will fall on Dhu Al Hijjah 10, 1438, though the Gregorian calendar dates are subject to moon sightings
- The actual date for Eid will be confirmed after moon sighting on 21st August, the 29th day of the previous lunar month

Sir / Ma’am.. Eid ul Adha always falls on the 10th of Dhu Al Hijjah, there is no “likely” in that. Please have this rectified
