Egypt is getting ready to its long-awaited parliamentary election in less than a week’s time.
Many hope it will be a final step in the process to bringing back democracy, but others claim it’s just a farce and a mockery of the political system.
The 18 October election was supposed to happen in March, but it was delayed by the courts, which ruled some sections of the election law unconstitutional.
